Life Becoming Worship

In Grace, life becomes one ritual of always returning to the beginning, the Source, and in the returning our deepening knowing deepens, and the returning never ceases. We are being drawn more deeply from ourselves as separate selves into the One who creates and sustains the created self and our original unity. The self becomes more and more quietly luminous with the Grace that graces it with the joy of ineffable, unspeakable Love. So, this return to the beginning is, at the same time, a moving onward. At some point, one is drawn so deeply into Grace, he or she no longer has any consciousness of return. This is the fruition of a path of prayerfulness beyond words, opening into a life of service in Grace. While some would speak of a negation of self, at this point, we can equally say the self, which is operational as part of the body and mind on earth, is placed by Grace into a passive posture of surrender. In this posture the thought of return or surrender is no more. Then, all Life becomes one act of worship, without there being any conscious thought of worshiping - the duality of life and worship has become life or worship. Out from this worshipful living may arise conscious worship, but, now, worship does not necessitate consciousness and conscious worship arises as the act of Grace creating a sense of duality as a creative expression of Itself. The Source, it seems, likes to play.
